Paul Révay is a member of the Board of Trustees of Friends of Europe, a “Think Tank” in Brussels and lecturer on International Relations at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in Moscow.
He served at the Trilateral Commission (nurturing closer relations between Asia-Europe-North America) as its European Director from 1981 to 2017. In 1994-2000, he coordinated in Geneva the “Informal Advisory Group” of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Mrs. Sadako Ogata. In 1978 he joined the Foreign Trade Board of the French Government (CFCE) involved with COMECON countries and was appointed desk manager for Yugoslavia-Albania-China. In 1995-1996, he participated in European Union TACIS projects on technical assistance to the Inter-State Economic Committee (MEK) of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Minsk and in Moscow, and in 1980-1996 he was secretary general of the French Committee of the East-West Vienna International Council.
