On 1-2 June 2017 an international conference on the topic “Economic Security in a Globalized World” was held in Minsk. At the conference academics, experts and diplomats assessed regional and global economic enablers with the potential to further economic development in Belarus; assessed the impact of globalization on the international economy and its effects on Belarus and the region; explored how bilateral and multilateral cooperation can advance regional economic security.
